 Print attack

Just in case you hadn’t noticed, paisley prints and reworkings of heritage textiles (think Liberty archive) are the business in the wonderful world of retail right now. So… if you can make your way through the sales unscathed, it’s definitely worth checking out the spriggy-inspired fashions on offer in the high street. We love these quirky vintage-style dresses.  Light me up

Light me up

Light me up

Anyone if the fashion-know will tell you that the latest must-buy is the lantern skirt. And if that means nothing to you… think high waist, pouffy on the hips, knee length and bob’s your uncle. It may sound unbelievably unflattering but these statement skirts are, in fact, addictive. OK, so we know they’re quite kooky, but they’re also feminine and curve accentuating. Above is a rather spenny version by Roland Mouret from Net-a-Porter (£615 worth of spenny to be precise), and a £65 jobby from Warehouse
