Everybody’s back in the trenches at the moment and Victoria Beckham certainly seems to know how to attract attention in hers. Photographed on her way home from LA last night, Victoria hurried through Heathrow airport in a smart silver trench coat, her trademark oversized sunglasses, a black and white checked bag and grey platform shoes. StyleJunkee.com is loving Victoria Beckham’s brand spanking new shoot for Emporio Armani Underwear. Taken on location in LA by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the black and white images are just as alluring as those taken of David Beckham for the brand last year. The 34-year-old famously described her stomach as being somewhat less washboard like: “I’ve got so much saggy skin on my stomach. Posh was a one woman show in Milan this weekend, putting on a non-stop fashion show with all three LBDs coming from her very own brand label dVb. It’s pretty good going for just one 15-hour stint between dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday.

Victoria Beckham, it seems, is a right old copy cat… The news is she’s to follow in the footsteps of hubbie David by stripping off - sorry, modelling - for Giorgio Armani. Armani have confirmed that the popstar designer will be appearing in a worldwide ad campaign for Emporio Armani underwear. So that’s brilliant then, isn’t it? We get to see just how skinny she really is, and she gets to enjoy whatever exaggerations Photoshop-frenzied art directors decide to bestow on her. Everyone’s a winner.

Victoria Beckham herself will be starring in the ads for her spring/summer 09 dress collection (well we wouldn’t expect anything else would we?). Filming for the ads has been taking place over the last couple of days in the grounds of Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire and it’s heartwarming to see the style icon wannabe looking as sullen as ever; even wearing one of her own posh frocks has failed to raise a smile!
Apparently Victoria Beckham wears lotion filled gloves and socks to bed in an attempt to keep her hands and feet young looking. Poor David… If you fancy having a bash though, Bliss sell a softening sock salve and a glove gel set for £48 each. Just be sure to pre-warn your man so he knows to give you a wide berth in bed!
Obviously you’re dying to know how Vic B’s dress collection was received at NY Fashion Week! Shown yesterday to a select group of a-listers including VB’s pal Jennifer Lopez, the posh frocks went down a treat being described as “beautiful”, “desirable” and “classy”. Cynics suggested that because they were so perfectly finished off - with rose-gold zips, no less - perhaps VB hadn’t designed them all by herself but had, instead, received a helping hand from designer Roland Mouret. According to reports, it’s now a battle of the department stores to determine which will be first to get their hands on the stock…
Our favourite English woman in New York has finally unveiled her new posh frocks collection to New York Fashion Week and this figure-hugging black number (exclusively previewed to WWD) gives a good indication of the structured designs and high-maintenance glammed-up look she’s gone for. Clearly sticking to what she knows and wears herself, the dresses are tailored with much use of embroidery and hand-beading. Watch this space for more previews soon…

Gone are those luscious locks in favour of the POB (that’s the Posh bob in case you didn’t already know) - and I’m not convinced it suits either the lovely Longorio’s hair type or face shape… Extensions at the ready!
Queen Vic B (of LA LA land) is at it again - playing fashion designer that is… But this time we hear she’s aiming for the glittering heights of New York Fashion Week for the ultimate showcase of her sartorial creations. In a recent interview the ex-Spice girl revealed that she plans to show a new collection of dresses at New York Fashion Week this September. She commented, “I’m just putting it together at the moment, they will be very upscale dresses and likely to start at around $1,200 retail. I’m going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries.” StyleJunkee will keep you posted.
