Oxford Circus Topshop regulars should keep their eyes peeled for the mystery shopper of all mystery shoppers… Kate Moss has revealed she often pops into the store incognito to see which of her designs are proving most popular. Nothing like the hands-on approach is there?! Moss’s Christmas collection for Topshop arrives in-store on 28 October and top of our must-have list is this teal embellished prom dress (pictured below). Check Topshop.com next week for the full collection.

Whistles has leapt to the top of many a list of fave stores now it’s under the helm of retail guru Jane Shepherdson. Her fab new autumn/winter collection is a huge hit even garnering a waiting list for some pieces - a sure fire sign of a winner… (In case you need reminding Jane Shepherdson is the woman… no… the goddess of fashion, who made Topshop what it is now. Take it from us, she’s hot.) Watergarden open back full skirt dress, £150 at Whistles.co.uk

If you haven’t already you simply must check out Celia Birtwell’s brand new collection for Topshop. This is the much loved textile designer and muse of David Hockney’s fourth range for the store and it’s arguably her most refined. Choose from 60s inspired print blouses and dresses, floaty playsuits, glamorous pussy bow blouses and elegant tunic dresses, in sophisticated hues of nude, rose, grey and midnight blue. This Empire dress is perfect for the more ‘grown-up’ fashion follower.

According to reports in The Sun newspaper X-factor singing sensation Leona Lewis is in talks with Topshop head honcho Philip Green about launching her own Topshop clothing line: “Philip and Leona have a dinner booked in later this month,’ an insider reportedly told The Sun.
“They have fitted it in after he returns from Ibiza and before she heads back to the States. He knows she is emerging into one of the world’s top pop stars and wants to discuss her doing her own Topshop range.” I don’t know about you but I’m wondering who on earth will be next on the celebrity designer/high street collaboration bandwagon!?
