Nivea makeup is on its way (about time too…)

Beauty brand Nivea have teamed up with lingerie designer Chantal Thomass to design a boudoir-style makeup collection, including eight lippies, six eyeshadows and two blushes. But don’t get too excited… yet. The range isn’t available in Europe until July. In the meantime, for our Nivea kicks we’ll just have to stick to the brand’s good old fashioned body and skincare products.

£1.79 moisturiser is creme de la creme at Tesco
Well would you adam and eve it: a £1.79 anti-ageing cream sold at Tesco has become the best selling facial moisturiser at the store a mere six weeks after going on the shelves. Put in simple terms this means Q10 Derma intensive+ anti-wrinkle Day Cream has outsold all leading brands, from Nivea to L’Oreal and everything in between. The cream was introduced by the store as part of its efforts to become the UK’s top discount supermarket and it’s clearly working with Q10 Derma Intensive selling 1.5 packs a minute. Expect to see some seriously young looking faces out there any day now… Credit crunch mania.
