Dita Von Teese and Wonderbra sound like a match made in lingerie heaven to me and the clever duo must have thought so too since a capsule range of underwear designed by the Queen of Burlesque herself has just hit the shops. It’s available at various Debenhams, John Lewis, House of Fraser, Littlewoods and Brown Thomas stores across the UK and Ireland, as well as at selected online stockists like Figleaves and ASOS.

Christian Dior’s fabulous new Haute Nutrition collection is being pitched by the brand as their primary defence against signs of ageing and wear and tear. The range’s key product is the Nurturing Oil-Treatment which combines an oil formulation that’s instantly absorbed into the skin and rich Omega fatty acids that help to renew lipids. £98.50, available at Christian Dior counters in House of Fraser from this week.

Brunettes: Hurry to Aveda to pick up a bottle of the brand’s extra special limited-edition Vintage Clove Shampoo – a re-release of the 1978 product in all its original packaging on sale to celebrate Aveda’s 30th anniversary. Made from organic essential oils and plant-based ingredients the shampoo enriches and enlivens all shades of brown hair, from auburn to mousey. Aveda’s Clove shampoo works a treat so I’m bang into the idea of vintage clove. Oh, and here’s a little secret from top hairdressers: a major cause of dull hair is over-shampooing so, to create glossy, luscious locks, use less shampoo and ensure you rinse it out very very thoroughly with plenty of clean water. £9.50 from Aveda, House of Fraser, John lewis and other major department stores.

I don’t know about you but my legs are soooo pale it’s shocking (truth be told I’m not a fan of lying in the sun without a gazillion tons of sun cream on). But, of course, I have to get them out and into all the pretty skirts and dresses I keep buying, which is why I’m madly grateful for self-tanning lotions and the like. My new fave - partly because it’s so mega easy to apply - is the brand new Michael Kors Leg Shine Shimmer. What’s best about it is that it comes in the form of a roll-on: how ingenious is that? And since it has also been infused with the Michael Kors fragrance it smells as good as it looks. Choose from three tones; Classic, Shimmer or Bronze. £22, available at John Lewis and House of Fraser.
