Don’t you just love Fearne Cotton’s style sense? You’ll love it even more when we tell you that the sassy pink sunglasses dress she wore last week to the Clothes Show Style Awards was from high street fave ASOS.com. Hurrah! Olivia Rubin For ASOS Silk Frill Sleeve, £52, at ASOS.com
Oh how we love to hate dear Gwyneth Paltrow. The rock star husband, the body to die for, the cute kids, the big acting career… is there no end to it? And now our Gwynnie is turning her hand to fashion design by collaborating with French label ZOEtee to create a capsule collection from which all proceeds will go to charity The London Kid’s Company. Expect a chic take on the casual jersey and soft separates ZOEtee is known for. Set to launch in London later this week.
StyleJunkee is mighty excited for the April launch of Urban Decay’s Rocket Pocket lip-plumping glosses. These little babies are set to become a cult must-have not least because they’re steeped in pheromones to enhance your sexual attraction. You’ll be able to choose between eight juicy shades - each named after a different dude that strips down to his smalls at your command. What’s not to love? Seriously, these will be huge… £10.50 at Boots, House of Fraser, Debenhams, ASOS.com and Hqhair.com.
Coloured tights are all the rage at the moment and, although they’re probably not everyone’s cup of tea, we’re digging ASOS’s range for the sheer quantity and variety available. Add edge to a plain outfit with these leopard print tights, £7.75 at ASOS.com
Flares will always be head-turners and the latest reinvention of the classic jean - the skinny flare - is a great new twist on an old favourite that’s perfect for those reluctant to give up skinnies. If you’re after a designer version check out Katie Holmes’s 7 For All Mankind Bell Bottoms in Vintage, £189 from Joseph, or go for a recession beating Rinse Wash Skinny Flare, £27.50, at ASOS.com.
Fancy that, a cheaper version of Victoria Beckham’s heart-filled Marc Jacobs dress (only with not quite so much heart). Petite heart one-shoulder fitted dress, £39.50, at ASOS.com
If your ASOS.com delivery hasn’t arrived in time for Christmas (what on earth will you give big sis now?!) - and you’re wondering how on earth it can have happened when you ordered it days ago - this Youtube.com clip will reveal all. The e-commerce site’s production team seem to have rather been busy making their own all-singing all-dancing video. And what a scream they appear to be having! They clearly have plenty of time on their hands…
White eyeshadow may seem like make-up for snow queens but it’s actually a must-have for beauty addicts in the know. When applied to the inner corner of the eye it really makes the eyes stand out, and is especially great for perking up tired peepers. Bourjois’ vintage eyeshadow pots are oh so chic and, because they’re limited edition, are bound to sell out fast. £5.75 at ASOS.com
… and you’d never guess it was from ASOS.com, would you? From the online retailer’s latest range of glam dresses, its A-list appeal wouldn’t look out of place on Sienna Miller, Gwyneth Paltrow and the like. Luxe Sequin Pleated Tiered Prom Dress, £85 from ASOS.com
Seeing Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts in this gorgeous black jumper dress has led StyleJunkee on the hunt for similar black frocks. We’ll be back with more soon, but below are our faves so far.
So we’ve a credit crunch on the go and apparently it’s now de rigeur to treat oneself to a new lipstick - rather than a posh new outfit, designer handbag or the like. (Sales of lipsticks, and other cosmetics, are often seen as an indicator of economic decline and sales of L’Oreal products are up year on year.) So… I’m thinking if a lipstick is okay as a treat, why not a pair of chandelier earrings as seen on Kate Moss at Leah Wood’s wedding recently? Well you would wouldn’t you? These ASOS Cut-out Detail and Metal Disc Drop earrings, £8 at ASOS.com, have ‘credit crunch treat’ written all over them.
I’m a big fan of cult beauty brand Paul & Joe’s scrumptious lipsticks and was delighted to hear they’re now available at ASOS.com along with a few other goodies from their latest range. The packaging is so cool make-up junkies like me will want to show it off at every opportunity. Limited edition sparkles lipstick, £14 at ASOS.com
This season’s must-have trend for playsuits and jumpsuits isn’t for everyone but this little number is perfect for the more conservative fashion follower. £25 from ASOS.
