I’m all for a spot of shimmer and shine especially when it comes to make-up. As long as you don’t take it to extremes and end up looking like a member of Abba, subtly applied sparkly make-up can add instant glamour and drama. Bourjois’s latest offering on the glitz and shimmer front is appealing and I’m already plotting its first outing (bit sad I know!). The brand’s new (about to hit stores any day now) Shimmering Shine liquid eyeshadows rather cleverly contain 55% water to help it glide smoothly across the skin and its pearlised pigments create the all-important shimmer. There are no fewer than eight groovy shades from gold and brown to blue and rose. £6.95 by Bourjois available at Boots and Superdrug stores nationwide.
