Kiehl’s Aromatic Collection, Fig Leaf and Sage

We popped along to the Kiehl’s and Shu Uemura Autumn/Winter 2012 press event and snapped a few of the upcoming products due out from August onwards (so early there aren’t even press shots yet!). We love the way the ranges were laid out – really bringing the perfumes to life.

Launching nationwide in September is Kiehl’s Aromatic Collection – a brand new range comprising a fragrance mist (£48 for 100ml), body lotion (£24) and body cleanser (£19), available in four lovely new fragrances. The body lotion is a scented version of Kiehl’s ever-popular Creme de Corps and the body cleanser a rich moisturising body wash that’s also sulfate free.

The vanilla in this range was grown on a fairtrade farm in Uganda that was set up as a project by Kiehl’s. The scent is very rich and warming and we loved it.

This scent was inspired by Japan and is probably our favourite.

And last but by no means least is Orange Flower and Lychee (not pictured here), which was inspired by Moroccan tea and cakes. And rather cleverly the perfumers had to create a scent that representing the flavour of Lychee – because Lychees don’t actually have a fragrance.

Shu Uemura had heaps to showcase too, including these gorgeous limited-edition palettes, blushers and eyelashes.

And new Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipsticks – some of which are out now, retailing at £20. We particularly like the groovy new packaging.

Kiehl’s also have a new version of their super-popular Skin Purifier too. Ultime8 is a make-up remover, moisturiser, skin cleanser and much more, all in one. It’s available now at harrods.com at £34 and nationwide from July.
