Anna Karenina is a favourite book of a few of us in StyleJunkee towers and we really can’t wait to see the latest remake of the classic novel, starring Kiera Knightley. This trailer gives a suitably dramatic and dark insight into the film Kiera has described as “definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever done. In a brilliant way.” Oh and see if you can spot Jude Law… He’s barely recognisable as Alexei Karenin (who is married to Anna).

Anna Karenina is due to launch in the UK on 7th September and in the US on 9th November.

And if you’re a fan of costume dramas don’t forget that Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, is coming out later this year too. It’s going to be a breathtaking costume and period film feast of a year.
