SJ happenings: London Pleasure Gardens
Aside from the Olympic park and the London 2012 games, the place to be this summer is London Pleasure Gardens in the east end. This 35,000 capacity arts and entertainment destination opens on 30th June and will be in place for three years. The 20-acre site will house open-air concerts, dance and theatre arenas, historic and contemporary architecture, an urban nature reserve, a boutique hotel and a floating cocktail bar. It promises to be a buzzing hub of activity with world-class musical acts, circus perfomances, film screenings, visual arts and much, much more.
First on our agenda is the grand opening which is free for all and starts this Saturday 30th June at 1pm. Click here for more info.
