Organic skincare brand Melvita heads to the UK

StyleJunkee had a lovely time yesterday at the UK launch of organic skincare brand Melvita. As the largest certified organic brand in France, it’s hardly surprising Melvita is preparing to open up standalone stores in the UK this summer. There are over 300 products to choose from and all are currently available at www.melvita.co.uk. From exfoliators and moisturisers to deodorants and toothpastes, every product includes essential oils and has the EcoCert stamp of approval – so you know you’re not putting nasty chemicals into your skin. Our favourite has to be the gorgeous Eye Contour Gel, £18, which glides on, has an instant plumping effect on wrinkles and lines and doesn’t leave a sticky residue, so you can happily pop your makeup on straight after use. The Cleansing Micellar Water, £13, is pretty lush too – alcohol-free and packed with essential oils, it’s refreshing, toning and delicate on the skin while still cleansing a treat. All in all Melvita is definitely one-to-watch over the coming months.
