Apparently Boots’ Aqueous Cream has become an overnight best seller as the credit crunch sends people reaching for cheaper beauty essentials. Boots have revealed that some stores are having trouble keeping up with demand, ordering 10-12 tubs a day just to keep it on the shelves. Starting at £3.99, it’s clearly budget-friendly and you can hardly question its versatility – the cream can be used as a moisturiser, shaving cream, shower gel and even on chapped and dry lips… There’s just something so unglamorous about it – but, hey, who are we to argue with the wants of the masses?
