Gwyneth and the LBD

In today’s GOOP newsletter (sent to the lucky few to have registered on Gwyneth Paltrow’s new lifestyle/advice website), the Oscar-winning actress imparts top tips on how to wear that ever faithful classic – the little black dress. The newsletter even comes complete with pictures of Gwyneth revealing different ways of wearing… yes, you’ve guessed it… a little black dress! See above for our fave two looks. And, in case you’re itching to know what she says about the LBD, here’s a tasty morsel: “Personally, I like to stick to the classics in both my everyday life and in the evening. Whether I am going to meet friends for dinner, a cocktail party or a bigger event, the most classic of classics, the little black dress, never fails me. It could be Zara, it could be Balenciaga, but a well-cut, well-proportioned black dress has gotten me through many a fashion crisis.” … Right oh!
